Hi everyone! My name is Aloisia Suliafu, but I usually go by Sia (like “see ya later”).
I just recently graduated with a BSW through the University of Utah with a minor in Ethnic Studies. As of right now, I am pursuing MSW degree at the University of Utah as well, with an emphasis in Mental Health.
In the past, I have worked with First Star Utah, a college access program, for foster youth as a Youth Coach and a peer mentor, helping foster youth in Utah explore their goals to attain higher education.
As a First-Generation Pacific Islander, my hope is to help the youth of my community as well as my future clients by educating them about mental health and aiding them in their efforts to pursue a higher education.
In my free time, I like to travel, watch movies, and spend lots of time with my family.
Education:
Bachelors of Social Work, University of Utah
Master's of Social Work, University of Utah (current student)
